North Central Baptist Association is a partnership of churches committed to the mission of sharing Christ with our neighbors both locally and globally.

 

Recognizing the varieties of people that live in the fifteen county North Central region -- age, education, ethnicity, culture, and vision -- the North Central Baptist Association of churches celebrates a diversity of styles and models of ministry expression.  We understand that we can't all be the same methodologically and be relevant to all the people living around us.

 

So, while we adhere to a biblical theology and practice of faith, we enjoy a unique variation of ministries practiced among the churches as a means to communicate the life changing message of Jesus with as many as possible. From the Vacation Bible School and Backyard Bible Clubs of the Northwood Baptist Church in Northwood to the student ministry of The Salt Company of the Cornerstone Church in Ames and  from the African-American worship style of the Friendship Baptist Church in Ames to the emerging house church worship style in Ames, it is clear that the churches are a reflection of what God has gifted and equipped his people to do.  Our focus in North Central is not conformity to one another but to Jesus Christ, the Savior and Lord!
